Your Workspace and our smart pick-up lockers are proud to have recently been part of an important grass roots community initiative set-up by government backed company, Library of Things.
Library of Things is a social enterprise that helps people save money and reduce waste by affordably renting out useful items like drills, sound systems and sewing machines from local spaces – and by helping neighbours share practical skills.
Library of Things partnered with Your Workspace to help automate the whole drop-off and collection process. We installed over 35 of our smart pick-up lockers at the latest Library of Things location, Dalston, London. There are a 7 Library of Things locations currently in the capital, with more sites expected to open this year. The lockers were manufactured in a variety of sizes to house numerous items, including some of the more practical ‘things’ such as a steam cleaner and a hedge trimmer.
‘Kinder to the Planet’ is at the heart of Library of Things’ company ethos. This simple yet effective initiative is a great way to help everyone become more sustainable, something Your Workspace is passionate about as a business.

Our smart pick-up lockers have a whole range of uses and are more than just parcel lockers. We have helped other clients to automate the distribution of employee uniform, manage their company assets such a laptops and IT equipment and have even installed our smart pick-up lockers into university settings for the loan of science equipment. Our smart lockers offer full visibility around usage which helps to manage not only the lockers, but also the items within them. Users can access the lockers using the built-in control panel but can also utilise the free smart phone app depending on the requirements of the business.
